We can all agree 2020 has given us all a run for our money. So, there’s this idea floating around that toners and essences are the same things. Let’s clear that up jewels, … first, an essence serves to assist products in absorption into the skin and a toner does just what its name says, it tones the skin. So say, you’re experiencing a slight discoloration or your skin seems to be going haywire after consistently switching between products that probably aren’t suitable for your skin type, an appropriate skin-care regime with a toner suitable for you skin type would balance your skin and bring the completion to a much better appearance.

An essences job it’s like glue but with essential nutrients that the skin needs and functions to hold other products to the skin while they absorb. Many women swear by the 10 step routine ( includes a double cleanse, essence other creams (based on skin type) and a serum step) while others simple, wash, exfoliate, tone, moisture and complete their skin care routine.

Dossier was so kind as to collab with me for their spring sale event. They sent over two fragrances of my choice to test and review but get this I think I may love both. Geesh! what does that say about me? lol! … Your fragrance selection says a lot about you actually more specifically your personality. At least Aubrey Almanza thinks so … according to some data she researched by Alan R. Hirsch, MD, founder of Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation. The results, ” according to Dr. Hirsch helps you understand yourself and others”.

Now while I may enjoy both fragrances, what is the probability of me repurchasing them. I’d say pretty high at this point. With all that is going on with the Coronavirus (Convin-19), the world has to re-think spending. In an article/blog post on Money Crashers title, ” Spend more for high quality or buy cheap to save? – Analysis of 13 categories” author Amy Freeman really lays out the obvious of what we (consumers) should ultimately consider. Take for instance Bullet #6 she notably lists cosmetics & personal care a category that is the epitome of lavish spending. Arguably her comparable analysis of why we tend to opt for higher or lower price goods are factually mentioned.
